URUMQI, Dec. 28 (Xinhua) — In January-November 2025, the volume of imports and exports of goods through the Horgos Port (Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, northwest China) on the border with Kazakhstan amounted to 42.443 million tons, an increase of 1.4 percent compared to the same period last year, according to data from the Horgos Customs Office.

During the reporting period, freight traffic through the Khorgos checkpoint continued to grow. 396,000 vehicles were exported through it from January to November of this year, an increase of 4.6 percent year-on-year.
