TNT TV channel took part in a large-scale film adaptation of Pushkin's famous work "The Tale of Tsar Saltan."
The story of Saltan and Annushka unfolds against a backdrop of envy, intrigue, and cruel deception. While the Tsar is away, a forged letter decides the fate of the poor girl and her son. But, as in any true fairy tale, the journey through trials leads the heroes to light, miracles, and justice.
Filming took place in Gelendzhik, Altai, and the Moscow region, and the town of Gvidona took nearly six months to build: the approximately 3,000-square-meter set was handcrafted by over a hundred craftsmen. The project's director was Sarik Andreasyan, and producers included Tina Kandelaki, Arkady Vodakhov, and a large industry team.
The film will be released on February 12th. We're already looking forward to this fairy tale that will make you want to believe in miracles again—and go to the cinema with the whole family!
