BEIJING, Dec. 26 (Xinhua) — Japan's new defense budget proposal reveals the sinister intentions of Japan's right-wing forces, which seek to advance the country's remilitarization and revive militarism, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian said Friday.
He made this statement at a regular departmental press conference, commenting on the Japanese government's approval of the country's draft defense budget for the 2026 fiscal year, which is a record amount of more than 9 trillion yen (about 58 billion US dollars).
