VIENTIANE, Dec. 26 (Xinhua) — At the invitation of the Cambodian People's Party (CPP) and the Lao People's Revolutionary Party (LPRP), a CPC delegation led by Xie Chuntao, vice-rector in charge of daily work of the Party School of the CPC Central Committee (National Administration Academy), visited Cambodia and Laos from Dec. 22 to 26.
During the trip, Xie Chuntao met with party and government leaders of Cambodia and Laos, including the head of the CPP, Chairman of the Senate (upper house of parliament) of Cambodia Hun Sen, as well as the General Secretary of the LPRP Central Committee, President of Laos Thongloun Sisoulith.
Xie Chuntao briefed the party and government leaders of both countries on the spirit of the 4th Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee.
For their part, the Cambodian and Lao leaders highly appreciated the significance of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee for China and the world, expressing their willingness to deepen exchanges and cooperation with China in various fields and advance the building of a community with a shared future.
