Marina Malyutina's speech

The St. Petersburg State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering's "Growth Point" event summarized the year's implementation of youth policy and educational activities. The event was attended by students, faculty, and staff—all those who contributed to the development of an active, vibrant, and proactive student community throughout the year.

Vice-Rector for Youth Policy Marina Malyutina addressed the participants with a welcoming speech. She emphasized that summing up the year's results is becoming a new, positive tradition for the university and allows not only to celebrate achievements but also to thank everyone involved in shaping youth policy.

The Vice-Rector paid special attention to the university's performance at the federal level. SPbGASU was ranked 9th in St. Petersburg and 88th in Russia for educational activities, a feat made possible by the active project-based, volunteer, and proactive work of its students. Marina Viktorovna noted that students are not only the object but also a full-fledged subject of youth policy; they are capable of shaping its direction, implementing their own projects, and utilizing the opportunities offered by federal programs and platforms.

Then, certificates of appreciation were presented to the university's faculty and staff for their contributions to the development of youth policy and support of student initiatives. First and foremost, recognition was given to all dean's offices, represented by the deputy deans for educational work and career guidance. Also receiving awards were Irina Deeva, Director of the Student Entrepreneurship and Career Center at SPbGASU; Oksana Safonova, Director of the Center for Physical Culture and Sports; and coaches Margarita Konovalova and Yegor Ryabchikov.

Acting Head of the Department of Geodesy, Land Management, and Cadastre, Yana Volkova, received special recognition.

The university's creative and media associations were also recognized.
