The flagship venue of the Moscow Estates festival, the Kolomenskoye Museum-Reserve, will host a series of special festive events for the whole family. Guests are welcome from December 26 to January 11; participation is free.

The highlight of the festive program will be the noble New Year's Ball. Every day, everyone will be able to participate in historical dance master classes. Actors will teach guests the polonaise, mazurka, and waltz.

For those looking to make a New Year's souvenir or gift for a loved one, there will be creative lessons on painting wooden horses (January 9th and 10th at 12:00, 1:30, and 3:00 PM), master classes on creating winter cards (January 3rd, 4th, and 11th at 12:00, 1:30, and 3:00 PM), and crafts featuring the estate using a combination of stamping and appliqué techniques (January 5th and 6th at 12:00, 1:30, and 3:00 PM). Guests of the Kolomenskoye Museum-Reserve are also invited to the "Time Capsule" class (January 7th and 8th at 12:00, 1:30, and 3:00 PM), where they can create a message to the future using watercolors.

The "From Vladimir the Brave to Pyotr Baranovsky" tour runs from January 2nd to 11th at 11:20 AM, 12:20 PM, and 1:20 PM. During the guided walking tour, participants will pass through the Spassky Gate, see Peter the Great's Cabin, the Church of Our Lady of Kazan, the Front Gate, and the magnificent Church of the Ascension, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Registration opened in the Russpass service.

Every day, visitors to the "Moscow Estates" festival site at the Kolomenskoye Museum-Reserve can try on images from bygone eras in the retro photography studio, take a memorable photo in the stylized photo zone, send a postcard to family and friends at the estate post office, and explore the festival-related exhibition. On weekends and holidays, a street theater performs performances dedicated to the life of the Moscow nobility. Everyone is also invited to enjoy a hot winter drink from a real samovar at the "Moscow Tea Party" station.

Information areas on Tverskoy Boulevard and Bolotnaya Square will remain open, as will the "Moscow Estates" photo studio on Manezhnaya Square. Residents and tourists alike will be able to join the "Moscow Estates" winter route, which connects 14 historic mansions, or learn about the history of the estate clusters of the Basmanny District, Arbat, and Khamovniki through audio guides narrated by renowned theater and film actors. Three online quests exploring the estate clusters are also available to festival guests.
