Since the beginning of 2025, 483 objects of significant architectural, memorial, and historical value have been included in the Unified State Register of Cultural Heritage Sites.
Among them are the Ploshchad Revolyutsii metro station (the ground-level vestibules and platform hall with all the sculptural compositions have received protected status), the Kuntsevo station building of the Moscow-Brest Railway, built in 1899, the recently restored Art Nouveau mansion – the residential building of E.D. Lomakina, the Church of the Icon of the Mother of God “Unexpected Joy” in Maryina Roshcha, the ensemble of the Moscow Higher Women's Courses in Khamovniki, and other famous sites.
The Unified State Register of Cultural Heritage Sites is constantly being updated. Since July 1, this work has been carried out in accordance with the simplified procedure adopted in the capital, which allows for the inclusion of previously identified sites in the register based on previously collected data, significantly speeding up and simplifying the process.
Work on placing objects under state protection will continue next year, and the most valuable objects will be included in the register.
The current list of cultural heritage sites is posted onMoscow Government's open data portal, includes more than seven thousand objects (including archaeological objects), is constantly updated and brought into compliance with the Unified State Register of Cultural Heritage Objects.
