BANGKOK, December 23 (Xinhua) — Thailand highly appreciates China's role in helping de-escalate tensions on the Thai-Cambodia border, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Nikorndey Balankura said on Tuesday.
Speaking at a briefing on the border situation later that day, N. Balankura said Thailand highly appreciates China's participation and role in de-escalating the Thai-Cambodian conflict and thanked China for upholding an objective and impartial position.
The press secretary also informed the press about Thailand's participation in the special ASEAN Foreign Ministers' Meeting held on Monday.
