At the "Zapovednoye Posledstvo" (Reserve Embassy) scientific and educational center in Zaryadye Park, they will discuss who Snegurochka, the main character of winter fairy tales, really is and why she doesn't melt.
Guests will learn about states of matter and the difference between snow and ice. Participants will be able to conduct an experiment that will produce hot frost from sodium acetate crystals and examine a snowflake under a microscope. They will also have the opportunity to try making artificial snow.
Children under seven years of age may only attend if accompanied by an adult with a paid ticket.
"A Happy Fairy Tale" at the K.G. Paustovsky Museum

The K.G. Paustovsky Museum will celebrate the writer's fairy tale "The Disheveled Sparrow." The main character, a bird named Pashka, befriends a girl named Masha by returning her jewelry stolen by a treacherous crow.
Museum visitors will be able to participate in a quest: complete themed tasks, explore exhibits, and find a lost brooch. The program will take place in the museum's main exhibition space. One accompanying adult is allowed per child's ticket.
"Morozko" at the Theater on Malaya Ordynka

The Malaya Ordynka Theater invites you to see a production about Father Frost—a well-known fairy tale with a new twist. Audiences will be transported back to the time when the hero was still very young and dreamed of finding true love.
Morozko knows: without love, winter will never end, and spring will never come. But three beauties are vying to win the young man's heart: Regina, who loves good food; Victoria, who is obsessed with personal growth; and Alenka, who is waiting for her father to return from a long journey.
Director Daniil Isakov added a wealth of music and dance to the production. Audiences will also meet a talking dog and buffoonish rappers.
"New Year's Dream Orchestra" at the M.N. Ermolova Theater

"A Return Ticket to Childhood" at the ROSTA Theatre
