BEIJING, Dec. 18 (Xinhua) — Lottery ticket sales in China rose 1.7 percent year-on-year to 575.62 billion yuan (about 81.55 billion U.S. dollars) in the first 11 months of 2025, according to data from the Ministry of Finance.
During the reporting period, charity lottery ticket sales totaled 191.28 billion yuan, up 1.3 percent year-on-year. Lottery ticket sales supporting the country's sports sector reached 384.34 billion yuan, up 1.9 percent year-on-year.
Last month, lottery tickets of both categories were sold for a total of 52.59 billion yuan, down 0.2 percent from November 2024. -0-
