For active recreation enthusiasts, a skating rink covering over 20,000 square meters is open. It is located along the Main Alley, around the Druzhba Narodov and Kamenny Tsvet (Friendship of Peoples) and Kamenny Tsvet (Stone Flower) fountains. From January 3rd to 10th, the ice ballet "Swan Lake" will be performed there. Participants include figure skaters from the team of two-time Olympic and three-time world champion Evgeni Plushenko, Olympic champion and European champion Yulia Lipnitskaya, and European champion Alena Kostornaia. Skating sessions will also be held on the nights of December 27th-28th, January 3rd-4th, and January 6th-7th.

Free hockey training sessions are offered at the Ostankino Park skating rink on Tuesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. They are designed for children aged four to 14.

In addition, over 30 museum and exhibition venues will be open to Muscovites and visitors during the holidays at VDNKh.
