From November 10 to December 15, a large-scale charity event was held in the South-Eastern Administrative District of Moscow as part of the "Winter in Moscow" project. Residents collected 400 New Year's sweets and approximately 100 kilograms of toys and stationery for orphans in Luhansk, as well as gift baskets and greeting cards for participants in the Special Military Operation (SMO). The collection of humanitarian aid continues.
With gratitude to the soldiers
Collection points were set up in each of the district's 12 districts. Residents of the South-Eastern Administrative District prepared gift baskets and souvenirs for the service members. Young residents signed over 300 cards with warm wishes and made hundreds of drawings of congratulatory messages. In addition to gifts, they collected personal hygiene products and clothing, including thermal underwear.
Gifts for children
Toys and sweet gifts—candy, cookies, and other treats—were collected for the children at the orphanage and the Luhansk Economic and Legal Boarding School named after the Heroes of the Young Guard. Volunteers sorted dozens of kilograms of confectionery and carefully packaged the packages for shipment.
"Throughout the month, people brought pencils, paints, drawing books, modeling kits, construction sets, and other materials that are so important for developing the creative potential of children without parental care. We've held such events before, and residents of the district always actively participate, understanding how important it is to support and bring joy to the children. This is especially true on New Year's Eve," said Elena Khromova, Deputy Prefect of the South-Eastern Administrative District.
