Specialists urban economy complex Moscow has completed the reconstruction of a low-pressure gas pipeline on Zlatoustovskaya Street in the Kosino-Ukhtomsky District. The work took place from June to October of this year as part of the city's planned gas distribution system upgrade program.

During the reconstruction, a section of the gas pipeline extending over 2.3 kilometers was upgraded. The outdated steel pipes were replaced with modern polyethylene ones. This material is highly durable, leak-proof, and resistant to corrosion and temperature fluctuations.

The work was carried out using open-pit installation, which allowed for the network section to be updated quickly. Mosgaz specialists used domestically produced materials that meet modern quality, safety, and environmental standards.

Importantly, all work was completed without disconnecting consumers from the gas supply. The upgraded section of the network will serve the city for over 40 years, ensuring uninterrupted gas supply to residential buildings, social facilities, and municipal services.

Modernization of urban gas distribution networks is being carried out in various districts of the capital and contributes to the creation of a modern, efficient, and durable communications system.
