BEIJING, Dec. 16 (Xinhua) — The second "Forest Sea and Snow Plain" Chinese-Russian Teenage Culture and Arts Festival was held recently in Hailin City, Northeast China's Heilongjiang Province, featuring a variety of events and injecting new vitality into cultural exchanges between the two countries.

According to the Hailin City Government website, the event was organized by the Hailin City Education Department. Teenagers from Vladivostok Secondary School No. 82 participated.

At the Hailin Experimental Middle School, a culturally charged atmosphere permeated the campus. The areas where students could experience various traditional cultural practices were bustling. Students exchanged traditional greetings, tried their hand at soft-brush calligraphy, and prepared traditional dishes, exploring the breadth, depth, and unique charm of Chinese culture.

At Hailin Korean High School, students presented a wonderful artistic performance: songs, dances, choral singing, and poetry recitations. As familiar melodies filled the auditorium, the language barrier between Chinese and Russian teenagers was broken by music, and friendships were strengthened through shared singing.

Through deep interaction and artistic exchange between teenagers of the two countries, this event deepened mutual understanding and emotional recognition between the young generations of China and Russia, promoting the transition of cultural cooperation between teenagers of the two countries to normalization, institutionalization and deeper development. -0-
