BEIJING, Dec. 16 (Xinhua) — China's express delivery sector handled 180.74 billion parcels in the first 11 months of 2025, up 14.9 percent from the same period a year earlier, according to data released Tuesday by the State Post Administration.

According to the agency, during the reporting period, the domestic postal industry, which includes express delivery services, processed a total of 196.75 billion parcels, which is 12.9 percent more than in the same period in 2024.

The industry's total revenue for the period exceeded 1.63 trillion yuan (approximately 230.87 billion US dollars), up 6.7 percent compared to the same period last year.

In particular, the revenue of express delivery companies reached nearly 1.36 trillion yuan, up 7.1 percent year-on-year.

The volume of express shipments within a single city amounted to 14.47 billion units, which is 2.2 percent more than in the same period last year, while the volume of interregional express delivery operations increased by 16.3 percent and amounted to 162.44 billion parcels. -0-
