Beijing, December 16 (Xinhua) — The launch of a Chinese-Russian maritime expedition on the research vessel Akademik M.A. Lavrentyev; the opening of the Michurinsky Prospekt Moscow metro station, featuring Chinese motifs such as clouds that portend good fortune; and a Russian boy interacting with Chinese guests using smart glasses equipped with artificial intelligence… The photo exhibition "China and Russia: Friendship and Cooperation in the New Era" opened in Beijing on Monday.
The photo exhibition, jointly organized by Xinhua News Agency and TASS News Agency, features 50 /groups/ of news photographs selected from publications by the two agencies.
The photo exhibition, themed around “beautiful expectations in life,” “deep mutual trust in cooperation,” “joint exploration of nature,” “warm protection of the future,” and “shared memory of history,” vividly showcases the achievements of cooperation between China and Russia in various fields, such as culture, education, sports and physical education, science and technology, and also highlights the profound friendship between the two peoples.
Chinese and Russian visitors to the photo exhibition noted that, under the strategic leadership of the two heads of state, Chinese-Russian relations continue to develop at a high level, demonstrating an exemplary example of relations between great powers characterized by a spirit of eternal good-neighborliness and friendship, comprehensive strategic interaction, and mutually beneficial cooperation.
They believe that in recent years, Chinese and Russian media have actively engaged in exchanges and cooperation, which have played an indispensable and important role in promoting the healthy development of relations between the two countries. Both sides are willing to jointly advance media cooperation and people-to-people exchanges between the two countries to make a new and more significant contribution to strengthening the friendship between the peoples of the two countries, passed down from generation to generation, and to fostering the building of a community with a shared future for humanity.
