An interactive glass ball, "New Year's Atmosphere," has been installed at the Central Market in Moscow. Inside the installation is a model of the iconic building, built and officially opened in 2025—the National Space Center. This was announced by the Moscow Government Minister and the head of the Moscow Department of Urban Development Policy. Vladislav Ovchinsky.

The installation of the ball was organized as part of the project Winter in Moscow Department of Urban Development Policy.

"The New Year isn't just about dreaming about the future, it's also about reflecting on the past. It's been a busy year, and we want to share its fruits with Muscovites. The 'New Year's Atmosphere' installation is an interactive exhibit featuring a model of an iconic facility—the National Space Center. It showcases to Moscow's guests and residents a significant milestone in the development of Russia's rocket and space industry, the beginning of a new era of discovery and achievement. We welcome the upcoming holiday with pride and confidence that even more ambitious projects lie ahead, thanks to which Moscow is constantly moving forward," said Vladislav Ovchinsky.

City residents can immerse themselves in a magical winter atmosphere: by pressing a special button, snowflakes will swirl around the National Space Center inside a glass globe. The installation also presents interesting facts about the capital's urban development.
