Phnom Penh, December 13 (Xinhua) — The Thai Armed Forces carried out airstrikes with two F-16 fighter jets on Saturday morning against several targets in Cambodia's Pursat Province, according to a press release from the Cambodian Ministry of Defense.

Thai armed forces reportedly dropped two bombs on a hotel building in the Tmor Da area at 5:50 and 5:55 a.m.

At 06:02 and 06:07, Thai fighters dropped two bombs on the Old Bridge, and at 06:12 in the morning, another one.

"Thai forces have not yet stopped bombing," the press release said.

The Thai side has not yet commented on the events.

The border conflict between Cambodia and Thailand resumed on December 7.

US President Donald Trump said on social media on Friday that he had held separate phone calls with the leaders of the two countries and that both sides had agreed to cease all hostilities as of Friday evening.
