Kyiv, December 13 (Xinhua) — National security advisers from Ukraine, the United States, and Europe held a videoconference to discuss next steps in developing a plan to resolve the Russian-Ukrainian armed conflict. This was announced by Rustem Umerov, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) of Ukraine, on Telegram on Saturday night.

According to him, the negotiations also focused on synchronizing positions and security issues.

The head of the National Security and Defense Council noted that work is continuing in parallel in several practical areas. Specifically, a defense group is preparing work in Europe, focusing on the details of providing security guarantees to Ukraine.

A government working group on economic policy, coordinated by Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko, also arrived in the United States to discuss recovery, development, and investment. Meetings on this topic are expected to be held in New York soon, R. Umerov added.
