TAIYUAN, Dec. 11 (Xinhua) — Three people were killed in a fire that broke out in the city of Linfen in north China's Shanxi Province on Wednesday evening, local authorities said Thursday.
A fire broke out in a building in Yaodu District around 8:00 PM on Wednesday, and it was extinguished approximately six hours later. The incident claimed the lives of three people who were in an internet cafe on the second floor of the building, according to the Yaodu District CPC Publicity Department.
Further investigation into the cause of the fire is currently underway. -0-
