Over the course of its operation, residents of the Technopolis Moscow SEZ in the microelectronics industry have created over 10,000 high-tech jobs, according to the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport and Industry. Maxim Liksutov.

"At Sergei Sobyanin's direction, the city is supporting strategically important industries in the Russian Federation. To this end, a microelectronics and photonics cluster has been established within the Technopolis Moscow SEZ. These companies manufacture unique products: microchips, optoelectronic devices, various electronic components, smart cards, RFID tags, and other high-tech products. Since their establishment in the Moscow SEZ, microelectronics companies have created over 10,000 new jobs," said Maxim Liksutov.

Around 5,500 people are employed in manufacturing facilities specializing in the production of microchips, as well as security systems based on artificial intelligence, computer vision, and biometric identification technologies.

Earlier, Sergei Sobyanin opened a production facility in the Technopolis Moscow SEZ photonic integrated circuits.

The Technopolis Moscow SEZ is a territory with a special tax regime, offering a wide range of incentives for investors in high-tech businesses. Companies with SEZ resident status are exempt from property, transport, and land taxes for 10 years. Their corporate income tax rate is reduced by 12.5 times, to two percent.
