New York, December 9 (Xinhua) — One person was killed and another was wounded in a shooting on the campus of the University of Kentucky in the United States on Tuesday, and a suspect has been detained, local authorities said.
The Frankfort Police Department reported that at approximately 3:35 p.m., officers responded to an active shooter on the campus of the University of Kentucky in Frankfort.
According to police, the university is closed until further notice.
