Beijing, December 9 (Xinhua) — China's Ministry of Public Security (MPS) recently issued a wanted list for 100 fugitives accused of involvement in telecommunications and internet fraud, either as organizers or key perpetrators. The list includes members of notorious criminal groups in northern Myanmar involved in such fraud.
The above-mentioned suspects, acting under the auspices of foreign forces, recruited personnel and engaged in long-term telecommunications and internet fraud against Chinese citizens. Their crimes resulted in enormous financial losses and are extremely serious, the ISIS statement noted.
According to the reward notice, local public security authorities will offer a reward of 200,000 yuan (about $28,259) to anyone who provides credible information about the wanted suspect and assists authorities in his arrest. -0-
