JERUSALEM, December 9 (Xinhua) — The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) confirmed that it carried out a series of strikes on Monday night into Tuesday against targets in southern Lebanon that it described as Hezbollah infrastructure.
The statement said the strikes targeted a training facility used by Hezbollah's Radwan special forces unit. Military installations and launch pads belonging to the group were also hit.
There have been no reports of casualties yet.
Israel has recently stepped up its attacks on Lebanon, despite a ceasefire agreement that took effect in November 2024. –0–
