BEIJING, Dec. 8 (Xinhua) — China's total merchandise imports and exports in yuan terms increased 3.6 percent year-on-year to 41.21 trillion yuan (approximately 5.82 trillion U.S. dollars) in the first 11 months of this year, according to data released Monday by the General Administration of Customs (GAC).

According to the agency, the growth rate of this indicator remained at the level recorded for the first 10 months of this year.

In particular, in November of this year, China's foreign trade turnover grew by 4.1 percent year-on-year to 3.9 trillion yuan. -0-
