Voting began on Sunday at 7:30 AM local time. More than 600 polling stations were opened across the metropolis, where approximately 4.13 million registered voters could cast their ballots.
Long lines formed at many polling stations even before they opened. At the entrance, polling station staff and volunteers carefully assisted voters through the necessary procedures.
