Khartoum, December 5 (Xinhua) — The death toll from a drone strike on civilian targets in the town of Kalogi in Sudan's southern South Kordofan province on December 4 has risen to 79, 43 of whom are children, the provincial administration announced on Friday.
A statement from the provincial administration said the attack was carried out by forces of the opposition Sudan People's Liberation Movement – North "in coordination with militias of the rebel paramilitary Rapid Intervention Forces."
According to authorities, the drone dropped four missiles that “hit a kindergarten, the Ghadir hospital and several densely populated areas,” injuring another 38 people, including 11 children and six women. –0–
