SPbGASU Day at Lyceum No. 179

On December 4, St. Petersburg Lyceum No. 179 hosted a large-scale career guidance event—SPbGASU Day. Students were able to learn about the university's program offerings, student life, and opportunities.

University representatives told the students about the institution's history, modern educational programs, the implementation of digital technologies, and the wide range of employment opportunities.

One of the key events was a meeting between students and Svetlana Bochkareva, Chief Architect of SPbGASU. The students were able to ask questions about the architectural majors taught at the university, admission and preparation requirements, and career prospects.

University faculty conducted a series of educational master classes on topics covering architecture, construction, engineering, programming, and law. These included "Galloping Across Europe: A Brief History of Architecture," "Driving Piles!", "How to Make a Building Earthquake-Resistant," "The World of Automobiles," "Entertaining Forensics and Forensic Science," "City of the Future," "Macaroni Builder," "Your First Robot," and others. Students could choose a topic based on their age and interests, ranging from popular science lectures for high school students to creative activities for elementary school students.

Students learned about the admissions committee from the staff upcoming open days and university Olympiads in architecture, mathematics, management, engineering and road construction, economics, and forensics. These events allow students to become familiar with their program areas in advance and offer them an advantage when applying.

The students also enjoyed performances by members of the creative teams from our university's Student Leisure and Creativity Center (SLC) "Kirpich." Vocal and dance studios, concerts, and theatrical productions are all part of the vibrant student life at SPbGASU.

Many students noted that SPbGASU Day inspired their interest in our university's specialties and the opportunities offered by studying at the University of Architecture and Civil Engineering. We look forward to welcoming them among our applicants!
