In December, the Moscow Venture Fund turns 20. It provides innovative companies with development tools, from grants and preferential loans to training programs that help find investors. Natalia Sergunina, Deputy Mayor of Moscow.

The fund offers various opportunities for launching and scaling technology projects. For example, accelerator graduates and winners of Moscow competitions are awarded grants of up to one million rubles to refine their solutions.
Companies with a finished product can receive a preferential loan for business development of up to 50 million rubles.
Enterprises with an effective business model can access preferential loans of up to 300 million rubles. Funds can be used to purchase equipment and machinery, construct or lease premises, payroll, and other project-related expenses.
Mature technology companies planning to enter the securities market are offered a preferential targeted loan of up to 100 million rubles.
Recipients of financial support include the developer of a digital construction platform, the founder of an online development school for children aged two and up, a company that created a multifunctional ecosystem for training IT specialists, and many others.
Project evaluation and training
Together with its partners, the fund has developed several training programs and a useful service. Three products are aimed at tech businesses, and one is aimed at future investors.
The "Investment Packaging of a Project" course focuses on preparing presentations for potential partners. Thanks to this course, companies have raised nearly 300 million rubles for more than 300 solutions.
The "Investment Expertise" service provides a comprehensive product assessment, analyzing its strengths and weaknesses. As a result, entrepreneurs receive an expert opinion on the development's potential. To date, 800 innovations have benefited from this support program, and entrepreneurs have received over 2.5 billion rubles in investment.
The "Path to IPO" program was developed in collaboration with stock market experts directly involved in the securities placement process.
Investors can join the practice-oriented "Venture Academy" course. Since 2021, over a thousand people have graduated, having already invested approximately 550 million rubles.
