BEIJING, December 4 (Xinhua) — China-France trade volume increased 4.1 percent year-on-year in January-October this year, reaching $68.8 billion, the Chinese Ministry of Commerce reported Thursday.
As the department's official representative, He Yadong, noted at a briefing for journalists, mutual investments are steadily growing, with their total volume already exceeding $27 billion.
He Yadong reported that the 7th meeting of the China-France Entrepreneurs' Committee was held in Beijing on Thursday morning, where more than 150 business representatives from the two countries discussed topics such as green development, industrial transformation, and cross-border investment opportunities.
According to a spokesperson for the Ministry of Commerce, the relevant departments of China and France also signed a memorandum of understanding to strengthen mutual investment, promising to ensure a fair, equitable, non-discriminatory, and predictable business environment for enterprises in both countries.
