BEIJING, Dec. 4 (Xinhua) — China's Ministry of Commerce on Thursday called the European Union's decision to drop its case against China at the World Trade Organization (WTO) "the right choice."
As the Ministry noted, China has consistently held that the EU initiated the proceedings without sufficient grounds, and therefore the European side's decision to terminate the case is the right step.
China has always strictly adhered to WTO rules and will continue to uphold the rules-based multilateral trading system through concrete actions, the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China emphasized. –0–
