Moscow's economy is growing despite the challenges. Investment volumes and the gross regional product are increasing, and the capital's industrial sector continues to expand. Sergei Sobyanin announced this live on TV Center and Moscow 24.

Fortunately, these forecasts didn't come true, and Moscow is emerging with a positive trend at the end of this year. This applies both to the gross regional product and to the volume of investment—it's higher than last year, and industry continues to grow," the Moscow Mayor said.
A solid foundation has been created for the capital's development, which in turn makes it possible to implement national projects and city programs.
Sergei Sobyanin noted that, despite all the concerns, the construction sector is growing, housing is being built, including under the renovation program. Tourism is developing.
"The city will develop; all the groundwork has been laid, all the programs have been developed. There's no doubt that we will continue to develop. Develop positively. All key sectors and all of Moscow's social programs will develop. We will win," the Moscow Mayor concluded.
