Moscow Zoo, subordinate to the capital Department of Culture, and the Active Citizen project are continuing their series of interactive quizzes about animals. This time, users are invited to test their knowledge of meerkats—tireless and sociable animals whose lives can be observed daily on mos.ru portal.

Participants will be asked eight questions, choosing one correct answer from five. They will need to recall where meerkats live, what they eat, and how their complex social life unfolds. Meerkats are among the zoo's most popular inhabitants. These small mammals are renowned for their activity, curiosity, and complex family bonds. They have been provided with comfortable conditions that mimic their natural habitat. In spacious enclosures with a system of burrows and raised platforms, they can dig tunnels, stand upright on their hind legs, and bask in the sun during warmer months and under special lamps during colder weather.
