In the capital's parks as part of the project Winter in Moscow The winter wizard's New Year's mail service is back in operation. You can recognize the mailboxes by the inscription "Moscow Estate of Father Frost."
"This year, we've installed over 100 mailboxes where you can send messages to Father Frost—almost three times as many as last season. Back then, the New Year's wizard received around 65,000 letters. These letters were sent not only by Muscovites, but also by residents of other regions and even abroad. Most often, the letters were sent by preschool and primary school-aged children," said the Moscow Government Minister and Head of the Moscow Department of Culture.
The largest boxes have appeared at the branches of Father Frost's Moscow Estate—in the Olympic Village Park, Izmailovsky Park, and Mitino Landscape Park. Small boxes, operating on the same principle, await visitors in other recreation areas. They are located in the Muzeon Arts Park, the Vorontsovo and Altufyevo estates, 50th Anniversary of October Park, Fili Park, Krasnaya Presnya Park, Severnoye Tushino Park, Sokolniki Park, Khodynskoye Pole Park, Tagansky Park, Lianozovsky Park, the park near the Raduga ponds, the Terletskaya Dubrava recreation area, the N.E. Bauman Garden, the Hermitage Garden, and the Tsaritsyno Museum-Reserve.
The New Year's mail service has been operating in the capital for eight years now. Letters are regularly collected by snowmen and delivered to Father Frost's Moscow Estate. There, every message is sure to be read and responded to—as long as senders provide an accurate return address with a postal code. Both children and adults write letters. Some of the messages contain traditional requests for gifts, but many share their dreams, feelings, and hopes.
You can also send a letter to the wizard online on the website Moscow estate of Father Frost. Messages can also be delivered by regular mail. Letters in any format are accepted until January 15.
The Moscow Father Frost Estate and its branches will be open to residents and visitors of the capital throughout the winter season, creating a festive atmosphere and New Year's spirit.

The project not only preserves unique landscapes and ecosystems but also introduces new infrastructure: bike paths, sports grounds, art installations, workout areas, children's playgrounds, and outdoor cafes.
Winter in Moscow— the main event of the season. The project aims to strengthen social and family ties, creating an atmosphere of unity, mutual support, comfort, and a festive spirit. Through a variety of programs, including cultural, educational, and sporting events, it brings together Muscovites and visitors of all ages and interests, creating conditions for creative development, active recreation, and warm social interaction during the cold season.
