Kyiv, December 2 (Xinhua) — Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced on Facebook on Tuesday that he heard a report from the Ukrainian delegation on the results of negotiations with the American side on a peace plan, which took place in the US state of Florida.
According to him, the work was carried out on the basis of a document prepared at a meeting of representatives of Ukraine and the United States in Geneva.
V. Zelenskyy added that official Kyiv is working to meaningfully engage European countries and other members of the "coalition of the willing" in developing solutions.
The Ukrainian leader also instructed that the most constructive cooperation with the team of US President Donald Trump be continued.
On November 20, the United States officially presented V. Zelenskyy with a draft plan to end the armed conflict between Russia and Ukraine, designed to bolster diplomatic efforts. On November 23, the Ukrainian and American delegations met in Geneva, where they prepared an updated and revised version of this document, and on November 30, a second round of negotiations took place in Florida.
