Hong Kong, November 30 (Xinhua) — Hong Kong police on Sunday confirmed the safety of 159 residents previously reported missing after a major fire broke out in a residential complex on November 26.
Police officer Zeng Shuxian, who heads the Hong Kong police's accident investigation department, told a press conference that the death toll from the fire had risen to 146 people and another 79 were injured as of 4 p.m. Sunday local time. -0-
