WASHINGTON, Nov. 29 (Xinhua) — U.S. President Donald Trump said on Friday he would revoke most executive orders "not directly signed" by former President Joseph Biden, escalating his controversy over the use of the auto-pen.

Without providing any evidence, Donald Trump wrote on social media on Friday that 92 percent of these orders were signed using an auto-signing device. It remains unclear which documents he was referring to.

D. Trump stated that he would revoke "all executive orders" and "other documents that were not directly signed" by J. Biden, adding that those "operating the auto-pen acted illegally." The president also noted that J. Biden "was not involved in the process of implementing the auto-pen" and warned that if he said otherwise, he would be charged with perjury.

The White House has not yet responded to a request for comment.

A spokesman for Joe Biden declined to comment. The former president himself previously denied that his aides used a pen to sign pardons and commutations without his approval, The Wall Street Journal reported. –0–
