BEIJING, Nov. 30 (Xinhua) — Chen Weijun, a member of the Party committee bureau of northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region and executive vice chairman of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, has been placed under investigation for serious violations of Party discipline and the law, according to a statement released Sunday.
According to the statement, Chen Weijun is under investigation by the CPC Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the National Supervisory Commission. -0-
