Islamabad, November 29 (Xinhua) — At least five people were killed and five others injured when a jeep fell into a ravine in Pakistan's northwestern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, the 1122 emergency service reported on Friday.

The accident occurred in Abbottabad district. The car, carrying 11 passengers, including schoolchildren, fell into a ravine in Magri area.

According to rescue services, three passengers died at the scene. Seven people were taken to a local hospital, where two later died from their injuries. Two others, in critical condition, were later transferred to Ayoub Medical Complex in Abbottabad.
