Beijing, November 29 (Xinhua) — The Xiamen Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), east China's Fujian Province, the Midong District TCM Hospital of Urumqi, northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, and the Center for Traditional and Folk Medicine of Kazakhstan recently signed a cooperation agreement to jointly establish an international TCM center in Kazakhstan, according to the Jiankang Bao newspaper, affiliated with the National Health Commission of China.
It is reported that in the future, the three sides will carry out in-depth cooperation in the areas of joint training of specialists, joint scientific research and innovation, and promoting the dissemination of TCM-related culture.
According to the document, the parties will establish a committee to jointly manage the future center. Furthermore, the Chinese side will assemble a team of experts in TCM therapy, acupuncture, moxibustion, and rehabilitation to provide medical services in Kazakhstan and train local medical professionals.
To ensure the quality of medical care at the new TCM center, the three parties will establish a quality management system for medical services in accordance with Kazakhstan's regulations, as well as a fair and rational revenue distribution mechanism.
