Yerevan, November 28 (Xinhua) — Armenia's National Assembly (parliament) on Friday ratified an agreement with the European Union defining the framework for the country's participation in EU crisis management operations, the parliament's press service reported.

Introducing the bill, Deputy Foreign Minister Vahan Kostanyan noted that the parties wish to establish common terms for Armenia's participation in EU crisis management operations. He stated that the agreement will contribute to the deepening and further expansion of bilateral cooperation in the areas of security and defense.
