Beijing, November 28 (Xinhua) — Chinese diplomacy, guided by Xi Jinping Thought on Diplomacy, will create a more favorable external environment for comprehensively advancing country building and national rejuvenation through Chinese-style modernization, thereby making greater contributions to the peace and progress of mankind, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning said on Friday.
Mao Ning made the remarks at a regular press briefing, commenting on the 2025 edition of the "Outline for the Study of Xi Jinping Thought on Diplomacy," which was released on Friday.
The spokesperson said that with the approval of the CPC Central Committee, the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs have updated and reissued the "Outline for Studying Xi Jinping Thought on Diplomacy," which was first published in 2021.
The new edition provides a comprehensive overview of the innovative contributions and latest achievements of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era in the field of diplomacy, Mao Ning pointed out, noting that it also systematically expounds the current context, profound content, theoretical characteristics and brilliant practice of Xi Jinping Thought on Diplomacy.

Since the dawn of the new era, the CPC Central Committee, with Comrade Xi Jinping at its core, has, with a deep understanding of the general trends in China and around the world, developed a number of important theoretical and practical innovations in foreign policy.
