Wuhan, November 28 (Xinhua) — China currently has 36 national skilled labor markets and 29 national industrial parks specializing in human resources. These markets and parks, along with similar regional facilities, form a system that prioritizes employment services and the supply of skilled labor across various sectors. This was announced at a press conference held in Wuhan, Hubei Province, ahead of the 3rd National Conference on Human Resources Services.
This sector has maintained a fairly high rate of development in recent years: since the start of the 14th Five-Year Plan (2021-2025), an average of 300 million people annually used employment services, career selection services, or services related to labor mobility, and more than 50 million employers provided professional support.
The authorities are placing particular emphasis on aligning human resources with the requirements of priority economic sectors, including high-end manufacturing, the digital economy, and modern services. The goal of this measure is to address the imbalance between supply and demand and labor shortages during industrial development.
The conference, which will be held in Wuhan from November 28 to 29, will showcase practical efforts in this area. Notably, a job fair is expected to be held during the conference, offering over 40,000 job opportunities in emerging sectors such as artificial intelligence and low-altitude economics to applicants from domestic universities and those educated abroad.
