BEIJING, Nov. 28 (Xinhua) — The Fujian Provincial Coast Guard conducted routine law enforcement patrols in waters off Kinmen on Friday in accordance with law, said Zhu Anqing, spokesperson for the East China Sea Branch of the China Coast Guard.
According to him, since November, the Fujian Coast Guard has continuously strengthened law enforcement patrols in the waters near Kinmen, intensifying the management and control of the relevant marine areas, which has properly protected the legitimate rights and interests, as well as the safety of life and property of Chinese fishermen, including fishermen from the Taiwan region, and reliably ensured normal navigation and operational order in the Xiamen-Kinmen marine area.
