Moscow, November 27 /Xinhua/ — The Soyuz-2.1a rocket carrying the Soyuz MS-28 spacecraft launched from the Baikonur Cosmodrome, Roscosmos reported on its Telegram channel.
On board is the ISS-74 crew, consisting of Russian cosmonauts Sergei Kud-Sverchkov and Sergei Mikayev, and American astronaut Christopher Williams. The backup crew includes Russians Pyotr Dubrov and Anna Kikina, as well as American astronaut Anil Menon.
Roscosmos reports that the planned duration of work on the International Space Station is 242 days. The cosmonauts will begin conducting experiments in biotechnology, medicine, and technical research, and will also conduct two spacewalks in April and June 2026. –0–
