In the north of Moscow along the third Moscow Central Diameter A new road will be built (MCD-3). It will connect Marshal Fedorenko and Verkhnelikhoborskaya Streets, running through all of Western Degunino and intersecting other streets. Sergei Sobyanin announced this on his channel in MAX messenger.

"This will create a transport link with the Golovinsky and Khovrino districts, and the Dmitrovskoye and Korovinskoye Highways will become less congested. The new road will reduce excess travel time by up to three kilometers, and travel time will be reduced by 14 minutes," the Moscow Mayor noted.

The following sections are planned for construction:

— Projected passage No. 4389 from Marshal Fedorenko Street to Bazovskaya Street;

— Projected road No. 1123 from the junction with Festivalnaya Street to Ivan Susanina Street;

— Projected passage No. 980 from the projected exit to Ilmensky passage to Pyalovskaya street;

— Projected passage No. 980 from Letchika Oskanov Street to the projected exit to Ilmensky passage;

— from Projected passage No. 980 to Ilmensky passage.

In addition, one section of Projected Driveway No. 4389 will be reconstructed – from Bazovskaya Street to the interchange at the intersection with Festivalnaya Street.

The new streets will have two to three traffic lanes in each direction. Roads will be renovated near the Verkhniye Likhobory metro station. A terminal station for surface public transit will be built near the Grachevskaya platform of the MCD-3. New routes will also be established.

All this will make the journey to the nearest metro stations and MCD-3 shorter and more comfortable.
