BEIJING, Nov. 27 (Xinhua) — Chinese Defense Ministry spokesperson Jiang Bin said Thursday that the meetings in Hawaii under the China-U.S. Naval Consultative Agreement (MMCA) have brought positive factors to the establishment of stable and positive bilateral military relations characterized by equality, mutual respect and peaceful coexistence.

Jiang Bin said at a press conference that the second meeting of the working group and the annual meeting of the MMCA for 2025 were held in Hawaii from November 18 to 20 and were aimed at strengthening contacts and exchanges between the militaries of the two countries, avoiding misunderstandings and miscalculations, and controlling possible risks and crises.
