Beijing, November 26 (Xinhua) — Northwest China's Shaanxi Province and Russia's Vologda Oblast recently signed an agreement establishing sister-city relations in Xi'an, the provincial capital. Zhao Gang, Chairman of the People's Government of Shaanxi Province, met with a delegation led by Georgy Filimonov, Governor of the Vologda Oblast.

According to the Shaanxi Daily newspaper, Zhao Gang welcomed the Vologda Region delegation's latest visit to Shaanxi. He noted that, under the strategic leadership of the two heads of state, the China-Russia comprehensive strategic partnership of coordination in the new era has maintained a high level of development.
