Minsk, November 26 (Xinhua) — Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko expressed his readiness to hold talks in Minsk on resolving the crisis in Ukraine during a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Bishkek on Wednesday, BelTA reported.

As A. Lukashenko stated, Minsk's position on a settlement in Ukraine is legally justified and is based on the fact that Belarus and Russia are allies. "I hope that everything will ultimately work out. Based on recent events, if the Americans proceed carefully, understanding that this is a complex issue and requires complex decisions," he said.
In turn, Vladimir Putin noted Alexander Lukashenko's contribution to the negotiation process in Ukraine. "I know you're always aware of this. This always concerns you, too.
