Moscow City Department of Finance The Moscow Center for Financial Literacy, together with its partners, will hold a webinar for educators. The session will focus on practice-oriented approaches to teaching financial literacy and their application at various levels of school education, as well as in vocational education.
During the webinar, financial literacy experts, educators from general education institutions, and representatives from leading Moscow universities will present methods and solutions for conducting engaging and interesting thematic lessons.
"Financial literacy is a crucial element of the educational process, fostering a responsible attitude toward one's future. Teachers play a key role in ensuring that knowledge becomes relevant, understandable, and relevant to students at all stages—from elementary school to college. I am confident that sharing experiences with experts, methodologists, and practicing teachers will help participants diversify financial literacy lessons, making them even more engaging, meaningful, and useful," she noted.

Webinar attendees will learn about new methodological developments, interactive formats for conducting financial literacy classes, and receive professional advice to help improve the educational process.
Olga Lukacheva, Head of the Financial Literacy Center at the Moscow Department of Finance, will discuss educational projects for students and teachers, including citywide and local events in schools, libraries, and movie theaters. She will explain how adapting formats—from themed cartoons for elementary school students to business games for high school students—improves the effectiveness of learning.
Yulia Lombina, an expert at the Moscow Center for Financial Literacy, will present educational tools for developing financial awareness in primary school students, focusing on game-based learning methods and story-based tasks.
Nadezhda Alyagaeva, a top-category mathematics teacher at School No. 2006 and winner of the "Budget for Citizens" project competition, will share her experience integrating interactive financial literacy teaching tools into lessons for middle and high school students.
Elena Basheva, head of the Moscow Interregional Methodological Center for Financial Literacy at the National Research University Higher School of Economics, will discuss practice-oriented approaches for secondary vocational education institutions and explain how real-life situations and professional scenarios prepare students for financially literate adulthood.
